Crashed 0216 at Walsum on the E bank of the Rhine,12 km NNW of Duisburg.All were buried on 27 April in the Nordfriedhof at Düsseldorf, though since 1945,their remaines have been brought to the Reichswald Forest War Cementry.F/s Sleeth RCAF came from Detroid in Michigan.This was the first crew to be posted missing since the Squadron commenced Path Finder Force duties.
